On May 13, 2004, members of a congressional committee led by Admiral Craig Steidle visited NASA's Shuttle Discovery in the Orbiter Processing Facility at Kennedy Space Center. This visit was likely in support of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation as they evaluated the future of the Space Shuttle Program in the wake of recent accident investigations.

During the tour, committee members observed ongoing preparations and maintenance of Discovery, gaining firsthand insight into the complex operations required to ensure shuttle safety and reliability. The video highlights the dense working environment of the orbiter processing facilities.
