STS-48 orbiter switch

I can’t find the article now (from another site) but I remember reading that STS-48 was originally assigned to Atlantis and for late fall of 1991. But that either Atlantis was delayed or Discovery was ready earlier than expected (??) the switch of orbiters was made and the mission moved forward quite a bit. .. does anyone recall this?

I guess -48 was always planned for Discovery; but -43 was moved to Atlantis and -48 moved forward.. thanks for finding it!
