I found this video on a friends Twitter feed (lots of great NASA folks on there by the way.)
Its a compilation of SE&I imagery folks footage.  Launch, SRB sep, MECO, ET sep, and RPM.  Lots of video and photos of each stage.  Even some launch angles I have never seen.  And great sound with launch videos!
That's a great compilation -- a lot of the launch engineering footage is film.  Aside from the SRB-based video and ET camera, they should have much of the same footage going back through the almost 30 years of launches.  It would be cool to see something similar to this video for ones back in the 80s and 90s.

THANKS Joey! The first two minutes with all the T-0 angles and close-ups just blew me away. I'm going to port this to my home theater so I can crank it up!!!

Here are the STS-128 FD8 HD highlights that was fed over NASA a few days after FD8.

H264 format, I think it's only about 200mb in size - not much material for FD8 in HD.

Here are the STS-128 FD 9 HD highlights, fed on the NASA HD channel a few days after the actual FD9 occurred.

We're back to file split mode - use the free HJSPLIT, the DOS copy command, or other software that supports rejoining files to take these two pieces and make it into one file.

http://www.filefront.com/14506509/sts128-fd9-hd.mp4.002/

FD10 was never fed (even a few days after the fact) and FD11 is coming as soon as I can finish uploading it.  Apparently no FD HD highlights for FD12 or FD13.

STS-128 FD 11 HD highlights, h264 format, abuot 1.5 GB in size.  This is the extended version (basically, more video of the hatch closing procedures after the goodbye comments with the two crews) rather than the cut-down version that NASA had been replaying that ends with the hugs between the crews.

Use HJSPLIT, dos copy command, or other software to join these 4 parts into one file.

there are no FD12 or 13 HD highlights and no HD landing since the landing took place in California.  One more file left to post after I can get it uploaded to filefront is the STS-128 Launch Engineering replay.

Sorry for the delay on this - it's been a busy week!

STS-128 Launch HD engineering (well, the only SD I can remember is the ET cam footage).  VAB roof cam is cool because of the flarestack at night, IMHO, or Camera 70 because I can't get enough of those sparklers around the main engines in HD just before the SME's light up.

H264 format, a little over 800mb total file size.  Use HJSPLIT, the DOS Copy command, or other software that is able to join these parts back into one main file.

http://www.filefront.com/14560723/sts128-launch-engineering-hd.mp4.002/

http://www.filefront.com/14561009/sts128-launch-engineering-hd.mp4.003/

That concludes all the HD material I have for STS-128.  I have a feeling there'll be more HD to be had before the next shuttle mission.
