Mission success!

"At 11:58 [Beijing Standard Time] today, China successfully launched the High Score 14 satellite into orbit with the Long March III B carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. High-score 14 satellite can efficiently obtain high-precision stereoscopic images from all over the world, measure large-scale digital topographic maps, and produce digital elevation models, digital surface models and digital orthographic image maps. It looks like per insiders the upcoming Long March 8 launch "probably won't be the last" Chinese launch before 2020 ends.

Any idea of what to expect? CZ-2/4 or KZ-1A?

Skyrocket per his info cannot yet rule out a KZ-1A. The potential payloads have been listed under his schedules TBD section on his 2020 schedule.

On the CZ-8 launch the schedule above has Zhixing 1A and ET-SMART-RSS. We know that ET-SMART-RSS is built by Zhixing, so are we sure these are two separate satellites and not two names for the same thing?

I am pretty sure, that it is the same satellite. Rui had already pointed this out.

There's probably at least 1 more Chinese launch before the year ends, but the details are vague:

There’s someone reporting on Weibo that the JL-1/Hainan-1 flight my be launching from Wenchang this month, although with just one source I’m not sure of its reliability.

IIRC there were reports from the satellite manufacturer that this launch had some delays due to the satellites being overweight and exceeding JL-1’s capability. I’m not sure they have that dealt with yet.

Several local tour operators are currently advertising for a LM-3B Xichang launch on January 19, curiously stating that it's of a Tianhui series satellite. That's highly interesting because the series of cartography satellites doesn't seems likely to involve BLEO operations.
Either the tour operators got it wrong, or there's another LM-3B SSO launch soon, or (one theory from Chinese forums) it's the long rumored/reported Chinese geosynchronous SAR satellite. (note that SAR requires the antenna to be moving to work, so geostationary orbit won't work and people assume it would go to an inclined GSO)

Seems like there will only be one CZ-3 series launch before Chinese New Year (February 12 for 2021), CZ-3B s/n Y74.

Another (?) CZ-3B on February 5?

I'm see some list it as January 19 / February 5 as the window, but there are several launchers at the assembly Hall and storage facility and some levels of activities at both pads.

I see several people on 9ifly declaring that the CZ-7A Y2 is being transferred to Wenchang. Will it liftoff before Tianhe and Tianzhou-2? I thought the CZ-7 Y3 for Tianzhou-2 was already in Wenchang, is it possible to have two CZ-7s at the same time there?

First off CZ-7 and CZ-7A (XSLC debut version) are not the same versions and have different Y numbers. Don't have answers for the middle part. For the latter, Yes there are horizontal processing and storage halls before They get vertically stacked.
