Delivery is scheduled for FY2026 at the earliest.

Whether NASA accepts or cancels this delivery from ESA will be a good indication of the path they are choosing to follow.

So NASA accepts the delivery?

Yes. The path forward hasn't changed. Right now an Artemis IV mission is in the books, and it needs a service module. The fact that the path might change 3 months from now does NOT affect the here-and-now. The decision to alter course hasn't been made. Meaning that right now the current course is being maintained.

It's not Canopée (previously used to transport ESM-3), as its arriving at Kourou on November 17th, unless they're going to wait a few weeks to ship it.

The other Airbus transporter vessels (Ville de Bordeaux, City of Hamburg and Ciudad de Cadiz) aren't currently near Bremen.

It will be less spectacular than Canopée. But let’s wait until it arrives in Port Canaveral.

Arrival of ESM-4 is now planned in two days on Dec 17, around noon local time. If the local people in Florida see BBC Livorno in Port Canaveral, please let us know.
