Fueling has begun of the second stage.

Fueling has begun! The @ISRO PSLV-XL rocket's second stage is being fueled with cryogenic propellant for tonight's launch of #Cartosat3 and #NEMOAM.

NEMO-AM wasn't in the list of payloads in the press kit. Is there a source confirming this satellite is on board?

Gunter points out I missed  Dove 2257 from the list.

It seems clear that NEMO-AM is NOT on the flight, despite some people still being confused about this

Has there been any news of it recently?  I've read none.

There's usually something different about each of these missions, so for this one..I think I got it, offhand :), it's the combination of the largest main satellite with many co-passengers.  There was a heavier satellite, RISAT-1( 1858kg) launched in 2012, but there were no other satellites on board.   The other Cartosats, Oceansats et al, may have had more satellites travelling with them, but the main satellites themselves were lighter.

This particular satellite on PSLV C-47, Cartosat-3, weighs in at 1625kg.  All the best for a flawless, successful mission!
