See how much space absent SRE-2 leaves you with  :-X

"We are planning to launch as many as 22 satellites on board PSLV C34. We had earlier sent 10 satellites on a single mission. Now, we are planning more than double.

We hope that the launch will be in May," ISRO's Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) Director K Sivan told reporters here today.

Would all those satellites be in same orbits? Or, are they going to use PS4 restart capability to do multi-orbit injections?

Chairman said multiple burn capability was to be used in C35.

As many as 18 satellites are being launched for foreign agencies including those from the U.S., Canada, Germany, and Indonesia. Two of the nano-satellites have been developed by the Pune Engineering College and Sathyabhama University. “The PSLV rocket, in its XL version, will be used for the mission,”

The micro-satellites include the M3MSAT of Comdev, Canada, to be used for collection and study of automatic identification system signals from low earth orbit, the Indonesian satellite LAPAN A3 for earth surveillance and magnetic field monitoring, the German satellite BIROS to be used for remote sensing of high temperature events and SKYSAT Gen2-1 of Skybox, U.S., for earth imaging.

The nano-satellite payload includes three quadpacks of four earth imaging technology demonstrator satellites each of Spaceflight, U.S., and a package of two Canadian satellites designed to measure greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

If bold text means 3x4 Doves then it should be 19 not 18. No mention of NIUSAT or Algerian satellites.

So Max Valier and Venta-1 would apparently not be onboard C34...

via Google translate:
Quote
it is planned that the satellite "Venta-1" will be launched into orbit around the Earth with an Indian rocket in the second quarter.

As the German partner of the project at the same time "Venta-1" satellite providing start the Italian student satellite "Max Valier", then on a rocket shell both satellites will be fastened together. Mated together, they will also be separated from the rocket and only after entering the open space with a team from the Earth will be separated from each other in order to locate the next time orbit completely autonomously.

Going by the Hindu newspaper article mentioned in the previous posts, there are 18 foreign satellites. That leaves 4 Indian satellites

We have the names of 3 satellites
- Cartosat-2C
- SATHYABAMASAT (Sathyabama University, Chennai, Tamilnadu)
- Swayam (College of Engineering, University of Pune)

We still don't have one name ! It may be NIUSAT going by other posts (confirmation needed)

Also, of the 18 foreign satellites 17 have been accounted for
Foreign Satellites - Microsat (4)
BIROS (Germany)
M3MSAT (Canada)
SKYSAT Gen-2-1 (USA)
LAPAN-A3 (Indonesia)

Foreign Satellites - Nanosat (14)
DOVES (USA) - (12nos)
GHGSAT (Canada)

Any idea about the second Canadian satellite ? Can it be AISSat-3 from UTIAS ?

The 690-kilogram dual-use satellite is equipped with a Panchromatic Camera and a high-resolution multi-spectral instrument. This camera will have a resolution of 0.65 metres which is an improvement over the 0.8 metre camera sent on earlier missions. The new camera onboard the mission, can not only click high resolution pictures of disputed border and coastal areas, but can also record videos of sensitive targets from space, compress it, and relay it back to Earth.
.
.
Cartosat-2C is expected to be launched along with 21 other satellites in May using a PSLV rocket.

If NIUSAT is onboard Doves can't be 12 in number. 3 slots remaining also 3 student sats are unaccounted IITMSAT, PRATHAM and PARIKSHIT so far.

Quote
According to secondary sources, the small satellites are of masses ranging from one kg to 130 kg. Three are from Indian universities – the 12-kg NIUSAT from the Noorul Islam University in Kanyakumari; the 2-kg SathyabamaSat; and the 1-kg Swayam from Pune’s College of Engineering.

4) GHGSat-D
5) BIROS
6) Skysat-C1
7 to 18) Dove
19) Lapan-A3
20) M3MSat
21) "MVV pack" (Max Valier & Venta-1)

Well Latvian media seems as conflicted as us  ;D

http://www.tvnet.lv/tehnologijas/zinatnes/603824-latvijas_pirmais_satelits_venta1_jau_piecus_gadus_celo_pa_eiropu_ne_orbitu

I checked details for 'Pratham' and it says Orbit: 10:30 Polar Sun-Synchronous, Altitude: 817 Km which is exact same for Resourcesat 2A..

http://www.aero.iitb.ac.in/pratham/

Strange that MaxValierSat and Venta-1 are cited separately in Parliamentary reply but counted as one here also 4 extra Doves.

To increase the confusion, BIROS carries also the BeeSat-4 cubesat, which will be ejected, after BIROS has been deployed.
