End of year - SatcomBW-2B - Soyuz-2-1b/Fregat (or early 2010)

If I understood correctly, the first Soyuz flights from CSG will be with using of Soyuz-STA (modified for Kourou Soyuz-2-1A) rockets, and then, after upgrading of launch complex, they will begin launches of Soyuz-STB (modified for Kourou Soyuz-2-1B) rockets.

Correct. So the SatcomBW will be launched on a 2.1A-Version of the Soyuz.

Does anyone know recent launch prices for an Ariane 5? I've read numbers varying from $100M to $250M.

Rascom-QAF 1R launch is scheduled for June 2010.

SNS I spoke to someone at foxtel tonight and he said they had been given go ahead to launch D3 Satellite late June, last week he said he was told by one of the company high ups. is there any truth to this. Going by the fact that they were supposed to launch before alot of other satellite it wouldnt surprise me, but i would have though July not June. Anyways can you tell me what your thoughts are on this comment, the guy seemed genuine and in the know...

Late June mission will carry TerreStar-1 as solo passenger. The earliest launch opportunity for Optus D3 is V190 which is scheduled for August (unofficially). Note that Amazonas 2 and one of SatcomBW satellites are seen as passengers at V190 (unofficialy). We should wait the official announcement of spacecraft allocations.

Is it possible to launch another 12 satelites by the end of the year?
Do they only confirm launches after a successful launch
Also is it possible after
Amazonas-2 / SatcomBW-2A launch in august for September to be another dual launch with NSS-12 and D3.
Do you know if Amazonas-2 / SatcomBW-2A are complete and if they are why isnt the date official. Also why was D3 delayed so far I heard rumors it wasnt completed are they true. Thankyou for your info i really appreciate it this site is so informative.. Cheers

Did he specify that it was on Ariane? Optus D3 was initially planned on the first Guianese Soyuz and I was told some time ago that a Soyuz launch to GTO from Baykonour might be in the plans for 2009 with an unspecified payload.
I watch rockets
