Launch, Land, and Relaunch Party Thread
« on: 03/23/2017 02:09 am »
A new party thread to act as a relief valve from the far more serious threads (serious face - ON) such as updates and discussion.

Previous party thread:
http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=40089.0

And this starts for SES-10, which is a refurbished version of the previous party thread for that mission, which was:
http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=39538.0

Which was....Ok, I'll stop now.

I have always said, the Party threads have the best SnR of any SpaceX thread.

When was the last time a party thread debated if a Dragon capsule could fit on the adapter inside a five meter fairing on a Falcon Heavy?

Dearest friend rocket-scientists & makers,

Agreeing, as we all do, that SES-10 will be highly successful and the booster successfully return to OCISLY, what would you do with said booster?

Do you rip it to shreds to see how it's holding up?  Run it off to McGregor to fire until failure?  Smile, pat it on the head, and HIF it for another launch in a few months?

What say you?

Can't have serious discussions in a party thread!!

Ummm . . . it's only a serious question if I expected a serious answer?

Did I manage to avoid a party foul?

I'd throw a Welcome Home party and invite all it's best friends. JCSat-14, SES-9, etc. Well except for iLean, I heard they had a falling out ;-) Poor Thaicom-8 was "Crushed"

I just tried to go to the other party, but the police had shut it down.  What happened?

I hope someone makes a school bus traversing the moon mockup photo in preparation for the FH demo mission. I'm sure there is some educational benefit to explaining to children that there is a school bus in orbit, just can't quite put my finger on it.
