did it fire 20 seconds early?

Audio and Video were far out of sync for the launch, could be here as well.

Gotta assume it was right on time although from my feed ignition took place right as someone said (T-) 10.  I assume this was a feed problem - not a real problem.

Audio delayed by 20 seconds. This is ridiculous.

Talk about an anticlimactic feed of the firing. Took me completely by surpise at "T-20 s" and then it was all over and a complete silence over the audio loop.

Looks like the test fire went off but i think the video was ahead of the audio stream.  I hope SpaceX fixes this laggy webcast before launch.

Arrghhh! *#^$ webcast window keeps resetting itself back to 'high' bitrate, even though I set it to 'low' repeatedly.

But it looks like the static test fire occured.

Disable auto-adjust.

Next time, don't remove the countdown clock one minute before firing.

The countdown clock was off anyway. Compared to the audio loop. Which itself was out of sync with the video feed. Borderline ridiculous.

Assuming the firing was a success, congrats to the team. An EPIC FAIL for the webcast, though. It actually managed to get WORSE in the 6 months they knew about these issues.

I'm definitely sticking with NASA TV coverage for the launch.

I have to agree with you and redact my earlier comment. Absolutely abysmal job on the web stream.

You have to uncheck the "automatic adjust".

Seemed like a successful firing.

It was only supposed to fire for 2 seconds.  From what I could see through the chop, the duration appeared about right.

From the spacex website...

SpaceXMissions Hold-downs will restrain the vehicle, and engines will shut down after firing at full power for 2 seconds.

so all according to plan

Thanks for the video, Ronsmytheiii. Reviewing it does suggest the engines burned for the 3.5 or so seconds in total, before shutting down and relief vent on the 2nd stage opened.

Yes, thanks Ronsmytheiii!

It's hard to tell what happened through the chop.
