Is there a reason for sticking with Feb despite a later amendment to 'Early 2018'?
None of those were sources for the date in the SpaceX Manifest thread, we've had it at February for months now based on older scheduling information. Is that when it will actually launch? We don't know yet. CRS dates tend to move around, and they rarely move to the left. CRS-13 just slipped from November to December, so I certainly wouldn't expect CRS-14 to move any earlier than February.

The rest of your answer still confuses me. You don't update to the latest reliable source? If you normally do, why not update Feb 18 to Early 2018 as being the latest information dating to Aug 15, 2017? Perhaps you don't consider SpaceFlightNow launch schedule a reliable source? Sorry if I am asking silly questions.

Sorry if I am asking silly questions.SpaceflightNow is a very good source for schedule information. However, to interpret this entry correctly I'd probably have to ask Stephen why he wrote that. It's still stuck in there with the February flights chronologically. Maybe he thinks it will probably slip from February since the flight before it just slipped (which is kinda how I feel about it). If so, then changing February to "early" doesn't do much for me because "early" could mean January, and I don't think it's going to move up to January. Figuring out the best vague way to present a schedule is one of the intricacies of manifest mangagement The date for a CRS flight 6 months away is always open to change. The footnote (55) is just information I wanted to keep track of since we haven't started a thread for CRS-14 yet. Once we start the thread I'll just put the information in there and get rid of the footnote.

As soon as I say that deruch finds the site for the NASA Office of Safety & Mission Assurance's planning schedules for Safety & Mission Success Reviews. On the near term schedule it has CRS-14 on January 26. It also still has CRS-13 in November, so at least some dates have already changed since they updated the schedule recently. I'm just going to leave my CRS-14 date alone for now and get a more precise update when they launch CRS-13.
Just stumbled across the Office of Safety & Mission Assurance's long-term planning schedule for Safety & Mission Success Reviews which shows tentative launch date for GRACE-FO of 2018-03-21. That date was current based on an ELV milestone schedule from August 2nd. Link to SMSR .pdf
