GSAT-N3 is supposed to be an S-band satellite. https://www.nsilindia.co.in/sites/default/files/u1/Annual%20Report-2022-23%20-%20English.pdfA long time ago GSAT-21 was announced as an S-band satellite. I don't know if that's still correct.https://www.sac.gov.in/SACSITE/SAC%20Annual%20Report/SAC_Annual_Report_2016-2017.pdf

The Cabinet's approval of ₹22,750 crore ($2.7 billion) in new funding for space activities signals a bold leap toward India’s ambitious space aspirations. This major investment underlines the nation's commitment to becoming a significant player in the global space race.🚀We are building a space station with Bharatiya Antariksh Station, landing and retrieving lunar samples with Chandrayaan-4, expanding our interplanetary exploration to Venus, and developing the Next-Generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV) that can land an Indian on the moon 🛰️ 🌓🪐 The New Space Age will see increasing contribution from India through collaboration between Government of India, @isro, and the burgeoning private sector. The most exciting times for the Indian space sector! 🚀🇮🇳
All ISRO Rockets: retired, operational and under development.
All remaining flights of the GSLV rocket are now fully booked & #ISRO is no longer offering launch contracts for GSLV! 🚫Within the next decade, both PSLV & GSLV are going to retire, after which India's launch demands are to be met by SSLV, LVM3, NGLV & private launchers. 🚀
"Reusability is mandatory for launchers," says ISRO chairman S. Somanath at #IAC2024; upcoming NGLV will recover and reuse booster stage.

Vikranth @VikranthJonnaISRO closes out 2024 with a bang!! 🚀With 3 PSLV launches, 1 GSLV launch and 1 SSLV launch. It visibly was not that frequent with a huge gap in between.🚀Regardless, 2024 was important for ISRO as it received approvals worth around Rs.30,000 crores for Chandrayaan-4, NGLV, Venus Orbiter & the Gaganyaan Extension Programme, providing a roadmap all the way to 2040 with a lunar exploration programme in mind. 🚀ISRO also carried out the second and third RLV "Pushpak" Landing Experiment in Chitradurga paving the way for RLV Orbital Reentry Experiment in the coming years.🚀Work on the first uncrewed flights of Gaganyaan to has been progressing very well behind the curtains with all the flight hardware for Gaganyaan G1 mission reaching SDSC-SHAR apart from the Crew & Service Module. The integration too began with a launch target of January-Feburary next year. Navy Trials have also begun in preparation for the recovery operations of the Crew Module.🚀Key steps are also being taken to improve LVM3 with the Cryogenic Upper Stage now being capable of performing in-space relight, allowing it to undertake more demanding and challenging mission profiles.🚀 2024 also saw Aditya-L1 spacecraft reaching its L1 Halo Orbit around the Sun-Earth Lagrangian Point 1 and begin its scientific operations. It also observed the abnormal activity of the Sun this year that caused impressive aurorae here on Earth.2024 has set the stage for a lot of important missions to unfold in 2025 and beyond. Exciting times are ahead for the Indian Space Ecosystem & Exploration!!!
🚨 Planned launches for ISRO in 2025!According to Dr. Somanath, ISRO is expected to carry out 9 orbital launches this year, including the launch of the much awaited Gaganyaan-G1 and NISAR missions! 🚀There will also be PSLV-N1, the first PSLV launch conducted through NSIL!
