Targeting Friday, October 18 for a Falcon 9 launch of 20 @Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Florida, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities. Teams are keeping an eye on weather →
SpaceX is targeting Friday, October 18 for a Falcon 9 launch of 20 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Liftoff is targeted for 7:31 p.m. ET. If needed, an additional opportunity is also available on Saturday, October 19 at 7:06 p.m. ET.A live webcast of this mission will begin about five minutes prior to liftoff, which you can watch here and on X @SpaceX. You can also watch the webcast on the new X TV app. This is the 17th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched mPOWER-C, OneWeb 2, Intelsat 40e, Digital Globe 2, Turksat-6A, Eutelsat 36X, Ovzon-3, CRS-26, and eight Starlink missions. (=B1076-17) Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
Another Starlink launch is coming. PS Not to be greedy, but I hope SpaceX releases some footage from BuoyCam for Ship 30's landing and some footage showing the control room during launch and catch. 🙏
