SpaceX is targeting Friday, December 13 for a Falcon 9 launch of 22 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. Liftoff is targeted for 11:28 a.m. PT, with backup opportunities available until 3:04 p.m. PT. If needed, additional opportunities are also available Saturday, December 14 starting at 10:48 a.m. PT.

A live webcast of this mission will begin about five minutes prior to liftoff, which you can watch here and on X @SpaceX. You can also watch the webcast on the new X TV app.

This is the ninth flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Oneweb 4, USSF-62, and six Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which will be stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

https://www.spacex.com/launches/mission/?missionId=sl-11-2

Twitter/X Webcast: https://x.com/i/broadcasts/1eaJbaAQXmRGX

SpaceX also already lists a webcast on their mission page, so hopefully this means it will no longer start after lift-off.

Hmmm, it's interesting that they went back to providing a live stream link and stating that they will begin 5 minutes prior to launch.

Once again SpaceX sends a whole new set of launch opportunities to CelesTrak.

The primary launch opportunity is now 2024-12-13 19:29:40 UTC per this information (but the mission webpage still says 19:28 UTC).

Webcast now updated to also say 19:29 UTC:

Liftoff is targeted for 11:29 a.m. PT, with backup opportunities available until 3:04 p.m. PT.

SFN live webcast begins ~30 minutes before T-0.  Apparently, the launch is on!

Keep your eyes open for any changes on the ground at or surrounding SLC-4E; we may see results of whatever SpaceX was hiding in the immediately previous Vandenberg launches.
