Thread for the Starlink Group 10-10 launch.

Launch 15 October 2024, at 06:10:00 UTC (2:10 am EDT), from CCSFS SLC-40, on booster 1080-11. The first stage successfully landed aboard A Shortfall of Gravitas.

Payload 23 Starlink V2 Mini satellites to 53 degree inclination orbit on a northeastern trajectory. Initial orbit 281 x 292 km.

The next Florida Starlink launch will likely be in mid or late September from SLC-40.

My statement above would especially be true if Starlink 8-11 => Galileo Flight 13 => BlueBird-1 => <next Florida Starlink?> => Crew-9.

This launch circa September 17? Or, will the Crew-9 launch campaign require ~2 weeks?

Which first stage will be used for this launch? (semi-rhetorical question)

Falcon 9 first stages are now cleared for use up to forty times for non-crewed launches, although that number is apparently more restricted for Cargo Dragon or Cygnus than these other payloads.

Almost-new first stage 1085.2 is set aside for Crew-9.

1064.6 and 1065.6 are the Falcon Heavy side boosters for Europa Clipper.

1072.2 and 1086.2 are being converted to "single-sticks" after their recovery as the Falcon Heavy side boosters from the GOES-U launch.

There's an NGA notice for October 2 (posted above), which is still active. I'm not trying to say anything about whether 10-10 is going to launch on October 2 or not. I'm only saying that IMO it's absence from the FAA ATCSCC COPA is not meaningful.
