Evolution Space Inaugural Launch Nov 13, 2021
« on: 11/12/2021 09:16 pm »
Tomorrow morning we will be flying our first mission as Evolution Space from the Mojave Test Area.  The vehicle is a 10” diameter sounding rocket powered by an in-house developed solid rocket motor.  The main goal of the mission is to validate new flight systems technologies on a high altitude flight.

The event will be live streamed starting at around 6am Pacific Time:

Some pictures of the launch.  Rocket reached an altitude of just under 60km, quite a bit lower than the 80km we were expecting.  Lots of telemetry data was gathered to inform simulation and design of the next iteration of this vehicle.
