« on: 07/22/2020 02:03 pm »
Anyone know what this TFR is for? its in Nevada for the 24th-26th, described as a space activity. Airspace closed from the surface to unlimited:

https://tfr.faa.gov/save_pages/detail_0_2998.html

Ill change/remove when I have a better idea of what it is

This looks to be for a Tripoli Rocketry Association High Power Rocket launch. Hobby rocketry, Estes on steroids. You need to be a member of either the Tripoli Rocketry Association or the National Association of Rocketry and certified for High Power (level I, II or III) to launch High Power Rockets at a sponsored event.
