Really nice personal message too, about inspiring young women.

Song was "Run the world - Girls" - I think that's one of her latest.

I got this snapshot of the complex.  I am so going to miss that view.

Probably my last chance at a shuttle screenshot on NSF.

I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

STS-135 Flight Director Update coming up next.

Courtney Mcmillan says 78% complete on transfers.  Focusing on getting MPLM ready for return.  Treadmill work scheduled, will do troubleshooting on it (gyros and vibration isolation system).

Sandy Magnus has air sampling and work with JEM RMS scheduled.

Work on spacesuits - talking about contingency EVA plan for shuttle (if needed), resized one spacesuit for Rex and another for Sandy.

Will get crew to unpack transferred items and get them in their final locations.  ISS crew will try to use transfer time while shuttle crew packs up MPLM.

78 percent is excellent.

Going to get a nap in and then cover the D-IV, so please keep updates coming.

I'm not sure why it bugs me when folks say things like 'it's great that so&so took time out of their busy schedule...' in relation to the wake up calls.  It's the other way around.  I think these are great, and I know it's being respectful, but those people sing songs for a living.  We as a society 'celebrate' the wrong people.
Something that I give the President (someone who is truly busy, regardless of our politics) credit for is that he recognized that and thanked the crew for taking time.

I got my VLC player for Mac back up.  Here's a live shot of the earth.  The complex is over China.  Replay of wakeup call coming.

Here's the scene of the complex as the wakeup call was playing.  And another live shot of the earth.

PMM activation in work, crew primed for smoke detection in MPLM.

Looks like a smudge of some sort on the camera.

Nice shot of the complex.

The crew will be fixing a latch on the door to the shuttle's air revitalization system so they can change lithium hydroxide canisters (the CO2 scrubbers).  Will be doing that today (FD9).

PMM activation complete.  Complex passing south of the equator smack dab over the middle of the Pacific.

Orbit 1 is on duty and Stephen Robinson is Capcom.  Moving 5 tons of items to stock ISS for the next year or so.  Data Processing System officer reports they're analyzing GPC 4 issue, no cause identified but could be radiation or a transient.

Moving into orbital sunset.  GPC 4 will run for 7 hours to test it out.  Ferguson and Hurley will try to fix the latch to the air revitalization systems.  If they can't do this they have a backup procedure to get to the lithium hydroxide canisters to install them for the free flight period.

Daily planning conference for ISS crew coming up in 30 minutes.  NASA TV now showing pics of the ISS control center.  My VLC player went flaky again.  I'll post if there's anything of note.

PAO describes ISS as the living legacy of the Space Shuttle.  Now William Shatner's video feature is coming up.  I think I'll check out for the moment.

I can't stop laughing at this idea to save cyro:

Here are some of the ideas we were thinking about. We could turn off all the lights (flashlights work fine so don’t panic) , PGSCs, IMUs, MDMs, and the GPCs as well (they do that on their own anyway)

Is this is a pure joke or at least there is a remote chance of another extension coming ? even by 6 hours or so?
