I'm always amazed at the number of high energy particles that light up the external cameras on station. Against the backdrop of a waxing earth, you can see the odd flash mark on this image. In realtime it's stunning.

The MMACS group was called last night to deal with the stuck locker issue, hence why their interview last night was postponed

Remembering one of the most involved in-flight repairs: They were involved with the ergonometer repair a few missions back (which Brandi remembered): took it all apart to determine what was the problem.

Talking about the acronym.

Involved with crew systems (spacesuits, excersise machine)

And that's that.

Cool -- Bryan Lunney noted Mr. Feng's work during the docking sequence on STS-133:

Watching the specials about 30 years of shuttle, it remains with me when I see the astronauts looking a little grayer, a little older, yet the orbiters look as pristine and as brand new, like they just rolled off the line… “Forever young…. “

It's really hitting the nation now that this is it.  The message came just a tick too late...

That's good, as much as I bet SpaceX PR will be rushing some e-mail of outrage on the "don't know" part, as much as there will be some irony on that come 11am MDT Monday.

SpaceX and Orbital can't replace shuttle.  They may succeed shuttle, but they won't replace it.
