Title: Lynx Target Missile
Post by: Yeknom-Ecaps on 04/07/2018 04:07 am
An Missile Defense Agency press release mentioned a Lynx target missile. I haven't been able to find a picture of it or who makes it. Can anyone help? Thanks.

A Lynx Malemute (sounding rocket) stage is a Patriot PAC-2 missile. Usually they call it a Patriot Target Vehicle.
A Lynx (sounding rocket) stage is a SM-2MR / RIM66 (naval). (sorry I was mistaken the first time)
So most likely it's a SM-2MR block 3 close to it's exploration date.

Block-III, Block-IIIA, Block-IIIB, Block-IIIC (Just now being replaced by Block-IIID) or the extended range variant??
