Since the meeting was cancelled they made a lot of papers freely accessible through Dec. 31, 2017. There are papers on all sorts of space topics, a couple I noticed at first glance were dealing with the status of the Orion service module and some papers about the NASA infrared imaging of SpaceX supersonic retropropulsion.

About the European Space Agency
The European Space Agency (ESA) provides Europe’s gateway to space.
ESA is an intergovernmental organisation, created in 1975, with the mission to shape the development of Europe’s space capability and ensure that investment in space delivers benefits to the citizens of Europe and the world.
ESA has 22 Member States: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Slovenia is an Associate Member.
ESA has established formal cooperation with six Member States of the EU. Canada takes part in some ESA programmes under a Cooperation Agreement.
By coordinating the financial and intellectual resources of its members, ESA can undertake programmes and activities far beyond the scope of any single European country. It is working in particular with the EU on implementing the Galileo and Copernicus programmes as well as with Eumetsat for the development of meteorological missions.
ESA develops the launchers, spacecraft and ground facilities needed to keep Europe at the forefront of global space activities.
Today, it develops and launches satellites for Earth observation, navigation, telecommunications and astronomy, sends probes to the far reaches of the Solar System and cooperates in the human exploration of space. ESA also has a strong applications programme developing services in Earth observation, navigation and telecommunications.

Pretty solid lineup for the FAA's imminent Commercial Space Transportation Conference, Feb 7-8 :) Gestenmaier, Lightfoot, Pace, and Fred Kennedy of DARPA, as well as speakers/panelists from Sierra Nevada, Blue Origin, Vector, Virgin Orbit, SpaceX, Boeing, and a bunch more.
Fingers crossed that it doesn't just end up being a rehashing of things said at CSIS '18.

Next ASAP Meeting March 1.

Just as the 45th Conf ends, Satellite 2018 begins soon after (March 12-15). It's a relatively well known spaceflight conference and a lot of cool speakers will be attending. Gwynne Shotwell and Josh Brost (SpaceX), Tory Bruno (ULA), Matt Desch (Iridium), Tim Farrar (cool comms guy who runs a great blog), Stéphane Israël (Arianespace), Thomas Markusic (Firefly), and so many others.
More broadly there will be folks from Inmarsat, Intelsat, ORBCOMM, Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic/Orbit, Planet, Digital Globe, SES, DFJ, and more. Faster to list who wont be in attendance, tbh.
Schedule overview can be found here (https://satellite18.mapyourshow.com/7_0/sessions/session-grid.cfm?grid-eventsby=Day&grid-eventdate=2018-03-12&grid-groupby=Track&CFID=22531240&CFTOKEN=197e24b68de67197-B8BA7A3F-EDE5-CD67-C0B589E188BDB5A1).

This is a talk by Gen. Hyten at the Space Symposium. It's about life and the space industry in general, not really focusing on current development programs, but when he talks at the end about how to move forward with our future development I couldn't help thinking that he perfectly summarized the difference between how companies like SpaceX do development as opposed to the more mature/bureaucratic organizations.

N° 3–2019: CALL FOR MEDIA: TAKING THE PULSE OF OUR PLANET FROM SPACE
16 April 2019
ESA invites media representatives to join the Living Planet Symposium, the biggest Earth observation conference in the world, to hear first-hand from scientists about recent environmental discoveries and the latest hard facts on climate change – don’t miss this exciting opportunity.
The event will be held on 13–17 May at the Milan Convention Centre in Italy. It offers a unique opportunity to talk directly to some of the most eminent scientists in the field of Earth science and learn how state-of-the-art satellites and novel measuring techniques from space are taking the pulse of our planet.
The week is packed with sessions and talks about observing Earth from space. Attendees will see the latest results from research into different aspects of our planet, from melting ice to desertification and warming oceans, and how human activity is affecting Earth’s natural processes.
There will be an emphasis on how information from space is critical for international bodies assessing climate change and implementing strategies to address societal issues, such as air pollution, food and water security, sea-level rise and disaster management, for example.
While novel space technologies and scientific discoveries form the heart of the event, the focus is also very much on how Earth observation is being used increasingly to benefit everyday life, particularly through Europe’s Copernicus programme. Precision agriculture practices, safe marine operations, weather forecasting and urban planning, for example, all rely on data from space.
New satellite technologies, the end-to-end chain of providing value-added information to a variety of users, along with emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, are also leading to new opportunities for business.
There is also a dedicated area for primary and secondary school children, where students will be carrying out experiments, such as taking measurements of air pollution and learning more about the planet and climate change.
Programme
Monday 13 May
09:30–11:50: Opening session – includes addresses by Italian ministers, senior ESA officials, heads of EU Copernicus and Eumetsat, along with discussions with science advisors and EU research and innovation officials.
12:00–13:00: Press conference
Monday 13 May to Friday 17 May
Following the opening, parallel sessions throughout the week will cover all facets of Earth observation, such as monitoring greenhouse gases, climate change, space weather, forest health, space and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, international collaboration, commercial applications, New Space and future aims.
For example, on Monday afternoon there are sessions on biodiversity, on Tuesday air pollution and ocean currents, on Wednesday agriculture and coastal waters, Thursday brings natural hazards into focus and Friday commercial opportunities
Several topics, such as the cryosphere and oceans, will be discussed in dedicated rooms throughout the week.
The full programme is available at the Living Planet Symposium website.

Ajit Pai spoke at an industry conference today and mentioned that the Draft Order for the new smallsat licensing regulations was circulated to commisioners today and will be publicly available on Thursday. I'm pretty sure we had a post somewhere with the draft regulations but I can't remember where. He highlighted the inclusion of a streamlined process for smallsats if they meet a set of conditions including size (<180kg), frequency use, and orbital lifetime (< 6 years).
He used the Starlink launch to highlight several points, from innovation in satellite design (the flat pack design allowing 60 sats on a launch) to the loss of communication with a few sats being an example of why they encourage companies to launch to lower altitudes. He mentioned that they prefer for the constellations to be at altitudes where they will deorbit in a reasonable amount of time if something goes wrong.
If you ever need to come up with a drinking game (or bingo card) for an Ajit Pai talk, you have to include "quoted Captain Kirk".

N° 10–2020: Call for Media: ESA, NASA and JAXA to unveil COVID-19 Earth Observation Dashboard
18 June 2020
ESA, NASA and JAXA invite the general public and media representatives to participate in an online media conference on Thursday, 25 June, at 09:00 EDT (15:00 CEST) where they will present a new dashboard that uses Earth observation data to show the impacts of COVID-19. This new platform will combine data, technical knowledge and expertise of the three space agencies to strengthen our global understanding of the environmental and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Joint Earth observation data-driven dashboard
International collaboration among space agencies is central to the success of satellite Earth observation and data analysis. ESA, NASA and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) have worked closely together to produce the ‘COVID-19 Earth Observation Dashboard’.
The dashboard will allow users to explore the environmental and economic indicators based on unique satellite data from the three agencies, and investigate how regional lockdowns and social distancing measures have affected Earth’s air, land and water. The platform will provide the possibility for users to explore individual countries and regions across the world and see how these indicators in specific locations have changed over time.
The dashboard will track key indicators of changes in air and water quality, climate, economic activity and agriculture. The dashboard will use data from NASA's Aura and OCO-2 satellites, JAXA’s GOSAT and ALOS-2 satellites, the Sentinel missions from the European Copernicus programme led by the European Commission, as well as nightlight maps using data acquired by the US Suomi NPP satellite.
Key speakers include ESA’s Director of Earth Observation Programmes Josef Aschbacher, Associate Administrator for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate Thomas Zurbuchen and JAXA’s Vice President and Director General Space Technology Directorate Koji Terada, as well as several subject experts.
