after launch press conference...

Press conference after launching of H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 36 (held after 100 minutes launch)

NVS
Streamed live Oct 10, 2017 (local Time)

Although the main conference is scheduled to be held 100 minutes after the launch, there is a possibility that the start time may be around depending on the circumstances. We will relay a press conference on the launch results of the Quasi-Zenith Satellite Mikibiki No.4 by H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 36.

It is now strongly believed a fuel dump from the second stage was imaged in Goi‚nia, Brazil by Gustavo Bolson Maia at 22:47 UTC 9th October 2017, 17 minutes after payload deployment. Here is the link to Gustavo Bolson Maia  facebook with the image,

This looks like another upper stage fuel dump sighting, virtually the same time, from Argentina, reported to Seesat-l:

Link to the video is in the post.

Re: the launch image from the Japan Times:

Wow, this could easily be an oil painting in a viewing gallery.

Also, the launch facilities at Tanegashima could be plucked from the pages of a lush fantasy novel.

If JRRT's Numenoreans post-"the fall of Atlantis" had been a bit more technologically advanced, I could envision Elendil or Isildur constructing a similar launch facility on the coast of Gondor.

(That's just the way my mind works.)  :)
