No ! Luch-5 satellites also have sun and terrestrial sensors to find their orientation.

AMOS-5 has suffered a sudden LOS and, after 3 days of no improvement, seems to have failed within GEO. If the situation is irreversible, there is another zombiesat in the belt.

At least its not of the rare type of zombiesat that still transmits but doesn't recieve data
