Sounds like an euphemism for "it failed".

The rocket looked like it was in pristine condition when I visited their shop last night. I'm not sure all the details other than something to do with a string of weather aborts, but it looks like they ended up having to cancel the test campaign before they were able to launch that particular vehicle.

Has anyone heard anything more about these guys?

HMX posted a patent they got for applying platelet technology to mfg turbomachinery (which looks odd to say the least) and I thought I recognized one of the awardees names.  Turns out he (Adam London) was one of PhD candidates involved in MIT's "Micro rocket" and "Micro gas turbine" projects which also seem to have sunk without trace.  :(

Ventions is now Astra. The presentation in Astra's lease docs strongly implies that the launch from Wallops successfully occurred.
