Dappa,
From your account since you started reporting,, Endeavour started moving way back at MLK and Crenshaw at 1:30 a.m. and ended at basically 1:30 p.m. local time.   That 12 hours for 3 miles.  Is that correct?

The start time is accurate. The end time is up to you really, it depends on how you look at things. She's still not in the hangar. She crossed that 'finish line shortly before 1 p.m.

The planning, work, and care that went into this move was clearly astounding and I hope everyone involved understands how much we space folks and the rest of the public appreciate it.

I only wish that Enterprise had had the same kind of care....

Thanks to all of the posters here at NSF for all of the coverage; they're not showing much of it on TV up here in Montreal.

Had there been any water near CSC, Endeavour would have been barged in too. The shuttles all got all the care that was deemed necessary, what happened on that barge was just a bit unfortunate.

Look at all the space! And even now she's backing up.

Thanks to everybody for your work covering Endeavour's move.  Covering a historic event is not an easy task.  Thank you again!

While her space travel is done, her mission is not over yet.  Now she's to inspire today's youth to become interested in science, and to get a new crew in to step foot on the Moon again, and even to Mars.  We will be back one day, and these girls are a testament to what we can do when we unite.
