Well, looks like the Chinese will get a new class of optical birds in space this month.... the satellite contains sensors made by CAST's 508 institute and the Changchun Institute of Optics.

Given the launch vehicle for this launch, maybe it's similar to Worldview 1/Geoeye 1/LDCM?

Hmm.... problems with the launch vehicle has delayed the launch - by today the satellite has already been encapsulated.

BTW I'm still unsure of the type of LV in use for the launch: one source said it is a CZ-4B, yet another said it could only be CZ-2C (as it seems that a CALT team is in the launch site).  ???

Edit: My guess is that this launch will use the CZ-4B, followed closely by yet another launch of the CZ-2C (so the CALT technicians has left the launch site because the launch before theirs has been delayed).

I have drawn below (in red) this NOTAMed zone which corresponds to the fairing drop zone.
For reference I have also indicated YG-12 CZ-4B fairing debris location and FY-3B CZ-4C fairing NOTAMed drop zone (in pink).

Seems launch is scheduled for 07:10-07:12 UTC with local time of descending node at 13:30, as with TH-1B several days earlier.

Looks like there is one co-passenger on this flight along with YG-14, but I've yet to find what is it...

Launch azimuth (passing through the center of the NOTAMed zone) is 193°

Launch azimuth (passing through the center of the NOTAMed zone) is 193°

It's true and spherical triangles give us the inclination is 100 deg.
My opinion - this is analog of YG-8.
