It is with great pride and some sadness that we present our final mission review music video for the Space Shuttle Program.  For this, we decided to return to our roots.  Many of you will remember the video that started it all in 2006 with Stratovarius' "Infinity" taking us through STS-115 and Atlantis' return to flight.  Now, nineteen missions and five years later, we are proud to finish our work with the shuttle program the way we started, as Stratovarius takes us through Atlantis' final mission and the final flight of the Space Shuttle Program with "Emmancipation."  Stay tuned after the video for a special short message on behalf of our team.

Don't forget to also watch the special ten-minute tribute to Atlantis and the program by our own Chris Gebhardt.  It's been one heck of a ride and we want you all to know it's not ending here.  We will still be hard at work as we prepare for the next steps of exploration.  Our "Press to MECO" documentary is coming soon here on NASASpaceflight.com, and we really think you will all enjoy it!  We'll all be here as NASA and the commercial industry press ahead and we hope you will be, too.  But in the meantime, we hope you enjoy "Emmancipation"!

All the best!

WOW that was so brilliant. The Rollout sets it up and the "plans of evil men"

3:30 fits so well too.

There are actually quite a few points both musically and lyrically that do that in this video(not to start an egg hunt), as well as others we have done. About the only thing that doesn't work is man, rather than woman in the words, but cant have everything I guess :)

We look forward to your coverage as we move to the future.

As stated in the video, we will be there.  You can count on it.

Thank you all for the support.  We've made it this far because of each and every one of you.  We'll be meeting this gap head on and going through it strong as ever and we hope you will all be here alongside us every step of the way.

Chris - the Tribute piece you did in the second video was fantastic... I could hear the emotion in your voice and it had me choked up as well... Thats a great piece to put some closure with dignity to this wonderful program.

great Job...

Yes, they are a Finnish band named Stratovarius.  The first video that started all of this (STS-115) was created by Astrobrian with another one of their songs ("Infinity"), so we found this a fitting choice for the final shuttle video.

"Infinity" can be viewed here - http://www.maxqent.com/main.php?q=sts115video001-infinity.html

My jaw hit the flaw at 40 seconds with that slow pan round the aft of Atlantis with her armed guards to that music, one of the most wonderful pieces of visual/audio EVER.

Lots of great rollout shots and then there's another amazing pan at 2:27, and another at 3:33. I could go on and on, but whoever edited this is a f-ing genius.

Amazing, totally amazing video.
