Two Spaceships Arrive at Baikonur
:: 29.06.2011

A train from Korolev, Moscow region, delivered Progress M-12M cargo and Soyuz TM-22 crew vehicles to Baikonur’s railway station Tura-Tam. Following customs clearance, the vehicles were transported to site 254 for further installation in the test bench and prelaunch processing.
 Progress M-12M launch to the International Space Station by Soyuz-U is scheduled for August.
Vehicles of the Progress series are intended to provide cargo supply services for the ISS. Each vehicle weighing 7.5t is capable of delivering 2.5 t, including propellant, scientific equipment, food, air, water, etc. for the ISS crews.
Soyuz TMA-22 is to fly in September with the ISS crew. This is to be the final launch of Soyuz TMA, replaced by Soyuz TMA-M digital series.

Soyuz TMA-22 and Progress M-12M Prelaunch Processing Commences at Baikonur
:: 30.06.2011

Progress M-12M cargo and Soyuz TMA-22 crew vehicles were unloaded from the carriages at  site 254 for further installation in the test bench and prelaunch processing.
 Progress M-12M launch to the International Space Station by Soyuz-U is scheduled for August.

Progress M-12M Testing Commences at Baikonur

Tests of Russian cargo space vehicle Progress M-12M commenced at Baikonur.
Experts of the industry began standalone system tests.
The Progress is to be launched in August to deliver more than 2.5t of cargo to the International Space Station.

Prelaunch processing of transport cargo and manned space vehicles Progress M-12M and Soyuz TMA-22 under the International Space Station Program is underway.

Space vehicle Progress M-12M loaded with propellant and compressed gases has been delivered to SC ATF for performance of final processing operations.

In parallel, TMV Soyuz TMA-22 is getting ready for testing Kurs rendezvous and docking system in anechoic chamber.

Technical management meeting and Government Commission meeting were convened. A decision is made to roll out Soyuz-U launch vehicle with Progress M-12M transport vehicle to the launch pad.

Soyuz-U launch vehicle was rolled out from the integration building to the launch pad. Soyuz-U launch vehicle with Progress M-12M transport vehicle is installed on the launch pad. L-2 days activities have been started.

NASA TELEVISION TO AIR SPACE STATION CARGO SHIP ARRIVAL

HOUSTON -- NASA Television will provide live coverage as a Russian
Progress cargo spacecraft arrives at the International Space Station
at 9:38 a.m. CDT on Friday, Aug. 26.

NASA TV coverage will begin at 9 a.m., in lieu of the day's "ISS
Update" program. The unpiloted Progress 44 spacecraft will
automatically dock to the rear port of the station's Zvezda service
module.

The cargo ship will carry three tons of food, fuel and other supplies
for the six crew members, Expedition 28 Commander Andrey Borisenko
and Flight Engineers Ron Garan, Mike Fossum, Satoshi Furukawa,
Alexander Samokutyaev and Sergei Volkov.

It will be launched at 8 a.m. (7 p.m. Baikonur time) on Wednesday,
Aug. 24, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. NASA TV will not
air the launch live, but will show replays during the regularly
scheduled 10 a.m. "ISS Update" program.
