About to go out of view, so we'll say thank you to Discovery's SRMS now.

Updated the article for post late inspection:

http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2011/03/sts-133-discovery-undocks-late-inspections/

L2 members hang around, we have another surge of STS-133 goodies (on top of those over the last 24 hours or so) coming in L2 STS-133 shortly :o

Thanks for the screenshots of Brian's send off... I remember working with him as a Propulsion (PROP) Officer on many a Shuttle mission.

He is a consummate professional and, while this is a sad, but inevitable, byproduct of the Shuttle program winding down, I'm glad that Brian is stepping down on *his* terms.

Concur Roger. He has been a great sevant to MOD.

2hrs 30 minutes to their sleep period. STS-133 has completed all robotic operations for the mission (bar contingency).

The growing shadow on the RMS is a bit poignant, considering the circumstances.

Slightly late to post this. Longish-exposure of Discovery ahead of the ISS (which has the much brighter track).

22 second exposure, this is a snip of about 1/4 of the full frame.

I last saw Discovery from here (north Wales) after launch on STS-128, just thankful to the weather Gods that I got to say farewell for now.

"I'd like to give my thanks to the robotics folks, include MDA." - I believe that was from Eric. Special thanks for PDRS and the robotics team (we have a number on here, including from MDA, so well done :))

Cryo configs for Discovery's overnight nap already sent up.

Potentially Discovery's final ever full day in space tomorrow.
