LIVE interactive coverage for Attempt 3 (remember, attempt 1 wasn't a scrub, but we're calling it attempt 3 for housekeeping) of Discovery's STS-133 launch countdown.

This is interactive, but will remain focused on updates. Use the other threads.

List: http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?board=2.0 - for items such as viewing the launch, weather and cheerleading posts.

The site will get very busy as we get closer to launch, so please appreciate the thread needs to run on updates, not random posts, and non compliant posts will be deleted by moderators without notice.

Be very careful with posting non-official Twitter updates in here as it's now NASA and USA policy that those involved are not to use Twitter during events, so exposing such people will risk them getting into trouble and I don't want this site to ever be responsible for that, even indirectly.

Coverage will be centralized on this site, via these live threads and news articles, but  I will ''tweet" important updates via http://twitter.com/NASASpaceflight

All STS-133 articles published by this site can be seen here:

Previous Article - by me.

Launch Day Article - including content from Chris Gebhardt:

L2 Members should also refer to the L2 STS-133 Special which is transitioning from PRCB/FRR to MMT/MER level coverage. Already the best mission specific L2 mission special we've had, and will drive the articles on site given the exclusive and live nature of the L2 mission coverage.

L2 STS-133 Special Section:

Should a scrub be called , this thread will continue until the attempt 4 thread goes live ahead of the next tanking opportunity.

Should Discovery launch, this thread will continue as Flight Day 1 updates, with new threads for each of the upcoming Flight Days.

Godspeed Discovery!

Quick screenshot of part of the current S0007 page via L2 to give you an idea of some of the tasks over the next few hours as some of us get a nap in :)

Yeah, for anyone wanting to see RSS from afar, and missed going: you can see from above you didn't miss much. Quite a bit of fog out there, both morning and late afternoon/evening. Let's pray for clear skies today!

Lots of IPRs noted by the NTD. All paper, mainly closed, so no constraint. Up to IPR-108.
