Use a large amount of caution on buying anything off e-bay simply because it is claimed to be autographed. I always figure if I want it just for the book and the price is right, I'll bid, if it happens to appear autographed is moot. A while back there was a Neil Armstrong "autographed" photo that went for a lot of cash, the autograph was across the arm and flag when the buyer researched it he found that Armstrong says he NEVER autographs over the flag.

The only unimpeachable source I've found for memorabilia on E-Bay is Donnis Willis' Lunar Legacies (seller llspaceauctions.)  His items are of high quality, and his reputation is beyond reproach.  That's not to say there aren't other reputable dealers there, but you do need to do your homework.

PS.  Donnis' auctions usually end around 9PM eastern on Sunday nights...
