There is a presentation about the FORMOSAT-3/Cosmic follow-on mission. The proposel is to launch 8 small satellites in 2013 and 4 more in 2014.

The US and NSPO signed an agreement to build FORMOSAT-7/Cosmic II and did the mission definition review a few days ago.

First launch is planned for 2014, second for 2017. Alltogether the mission is made of 12 satellites.

The mission will be launched by the Minotaur IV. For the second phase, there might be one additional spare satellite. Development started since early 2010.

The first 6 satellites will be launched as a part of the STP-2 mission on a Falcon-Heavy in 2015 from Cape Canaveral.

There will be only 6 satellites. The second Launch was cancelled.
