Lol it seems they only got 2 or 3 camera positions... And after lift-off there's only smoke to watch.

So, we will wait for news of successful orbital insertion (it took place at 1237UTC).

Separation of the Elektro-L from the Fregat-SB is expected at 2128UTC.

No one seems to have commented on the use of the Fregat-SB variant for this launch. The "SB" means that an extra propellant tank is being used, which AFAIK is to be jettisoned after its propellant is depleted, much like the Briz-M APT. So ... this implies that there will be a jettison event prior to separation of the spacecraft.

1st Fregat burn commenced at 16:43:31 MSK, confirmed APT jettison, all is going nominal.

Another question to ask is, what is the name of this rocket?  I've seen it referred to as

(1) Zenit 2SB/Fregat SB
(2) Zenit 3F
(3) Zenit 3SLB/Fregat SB

and there are probably a few other names floating around.  Which is correct?

Another question to ask is, what is the name of this rocket?

The three-stage rocket used in this launch is called "Зенит-3SLБФ" (Zenit-3SLBF), which consists of two-stage rocket "Зенит-2SБ80" (Zenit-2SB80) with third stage "Фрегат-СБ" (Fregat-SB).

Another three-stage variant of Zenit is also used in "LandLaunch" launches with another upper stage - "Зенит-3SLБ" (Zenit-3SLB), which consists of two-stage rocket "Зенит-2SБ60" (Zenit-2SB60) and DM-SLB upper stage.

P.S. Sorry, used wrong index initially.

11K77 Zenit-3SLBF/Fregat-SB (1-2007/1-1001)

Three-stage Zenit-3SLBF rocket = two-stage Zenit-2SB80 #1-2007/1 rocket + Fregat-SB #2001 upper stage.
