After liftoff, the launch vehicle will shift its pitch plane angle to 108.5 degrees in azimuth and fly over the Pacific Ocean according to the flight plan Table 2-1.

The Solid Rocket Boosters (SRB-As) will be  jettisoned at about two minutes and four seconds and two minutes and seven seconds  after liftoff (hereinafter, time indicates approximate minutes and seconds passed after liftoff) followed by the jettison of the payload fairing at three minutes and 40 seconds, the first stage engine cutoff at five minutes and 47 seconds, and the first stage jettison at five minutes and 54 seconds. The second stage engine will be ignited at six minutes and one second and cut off at 14 minutes and 20 seconds. Then, at 15 minutes and 11 seconds, it will release the HTV Demonstration Flight into the elliptical orbit  at a perigee altitude  of 200 km, and apogee
altitude of 300 km, with an inclination of 51.7 degrees. Table 2-1 shows the launch vehicle flight plan and Figure 2-1 shows its scheduled flight trajectory.

Possible lightning (red triangle mark).

Quite a trick ;)

It correctly says September in the version of the press release on the site.

Quite a trick ;)

It correctly says September in the version of the press release on the site.

Here is the correct version :)

Correction from JAXA

We are sorry, but we had a typo in our last press release issued at
1:00 p.m. today titled "Launch Time of H-IIB Launch Vehicle with HTV
Demonstration Flight Onboard." The launch date was announced at
February 11, 2009, but it should have been September 11, 2009.

The correct new launch time and date are 2:01:46 a.m. on September 11
(Fri,) 2009 (JST.)

We sincerely apologize for the error.

From JAXA Y-1 (L-1day) briefing information.
HTV-1 separation time (updated): L+15min 6 sec
Weather stiuation is still watched. At the launch time, posible rapid weather chage is expected.
This is the H-IIB first flight, so rainy weather is not favorable.

Sorry, I can't update live coverage (offline info only).

And this is a good reminder that just because one of your fellow space enthusiasts occasionally voices doubts about the SpaceX schedule announcements or is cautious about believing SpaceX has licked a problem before actually seeing proof that's true, it doesn't mean they hate SpaceX.
