The QB-50 page now points to a launch on April-21-2017
https://www.qb50.eu/index.php/project-description-obj/launch-scenario

Also, should we add CESAT-1 (Canon Satellite) to the same launch as described on reddit page
https://www.reddit.com/r/ISRO/comments/5hhifr/canon_electronics_cesati_likely_on_pslv_c38_with/

One last thing, a new page for PSLV-C38 is also needed :)

Spoke with some friends at SHAR, per them, LVM3 may be pushed to late April or early May.
PSLV-C38 will be pushed forward.

End-Mar/Early-April - GSLV
Mid-April                 - PSLV
End-April/Early-May - LVM3

http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/5-new-satellites-this-year-to-raise-isro-capacity/article17740909.ece

Quote
The first of them, GSAT-9 or the South Asia Satellite, will kick off the serial launches in the first half of April from the Sriharikota space port. (Officials said they had not yet set a date for it.)

Quote
Tentatively, ISRO has lined up the Internet user-friendly GSAT-19 for launch around May; GSAT-17 around June; GSAT-6A, which like GSAT-6, is for the Defence forces, in September; and its largest 5,000-plus GSAT-11 around December. GSAT-17 and GSAT-11 will be launched on the European Ariane launcher.

Quote
After INSAT-4CR was moved to a new orbital slot a few months ago, its efficiency has been improved and a little extra capacity created for select use, he said.

RSL previously designed the Aalto-1 and Aalto-2 satellites for the local Aalto University. This July, they plan to launch Finland’s first fully commercial satellite — Reaktor Hello World — with ISRO from an Indian PSLV rocket. Liukkonen expects radio frequency permits for the satellite to clear the month before.

ISRO to launch five communication satellites by year-end
Quote
Hyderabad, Apr 27 (PTI) The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch five communication satellites by the year-end, its chairman A S Kiran Kumar said today.

The satellites, proposed to be launched, are aimed at improving the communication system within the country, he said.

"There are five (satellites) that are coming up... all are communication satellites," Kumar told PTI here.

All the satellites would be put in space by the end of this year, the noted space scientist said.

I guess the five comsats Chairman refer to should be - GSAT-9, GSAT-6A (or GSAT-7A), GSAT-19, GSAT-17 and GSAT-11. The first two by GSLV Mk2, third by GSLV Mk3 and the last two by Ariane.

- GSLV-III D2 tentatively targeted for Jan 2018
- Two GSLV launches and three PSLV launches (including C38) planned for the rest of the year. The first GSLV should be lofting GSAT-6A based on prior reports. Candidates for the second GSLV could be Chandrayan-2, GSAT-7A or GISAT-1.

Quote
After the historic launch of the 640 ton, first developmental flight of Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) -Mark III (D1) on June 5, the team of scientists from Isro centres here have set their target to launch its second developmental flight GSLV-Mark III -D2 by Jan 2018 with more payload and higher thrust.
Quote
Ahead of that, two more GSLV launches and three more PSLV launches are planned including the latest PSLV -C38 on June 28.

VSSC Director hints at the launch of IRNSS-1I later this year
Quote
The space agency plans to launch an additional space navigation satellite later this year to augment the services of the Rs 1,420 crore NavIC.

"The two spare navigation satellites will make up for any shortfall in the operations and service provided by NavIC to the users round-the-clock over the next 10 years," added Sivan.

November - PSLV-XL C40 - IRNSS-1I - IITMSAT - Kepler Com #1 - Parikshit - Cubesats

IRNSS-1I is not compatible with secondary payloads IITMSAT - Kepler Com #1 - Parikshit - Cubesats. These require a LEO launch to join the ride.
