"In particular, it will be replaced on-board radio system," Quantum-B "antenna-feeder devices on a single new command and telemetry system ECTS. On each Progress-MS, there will be four containers to allow the jettison of 24 CubeSat !http://www.federalspace.ru/20995/

On this i disagree. I think, it is a good opportunity to provide regular flights for cubesat payloads to a short lived, self-cleaning orbit. And it allows deploying the cubesats in this orbit without occupying the ISS crew with this task.

Why to use Wikipedia when there are more reliable sources, like Novosti Kosmonavtiki forum?
Photo via NK-forum: http://www.oborona.gov.ru/common/modules/photo/uploads/album/134/big/dsc_2948-jpg.jpegIt seems to me one can see the opening for the periscope on the descent module... has its deletion been deleted?
it is my understanding based on past info and discussions that periscope will be kept at least first 4 vehicles until approval to switch to all digital system. periscope will be deployed, but only serve as a backup to the digital system on these flights. This is subject to change.
