Remember that the Japanese don't have such fanfares as NRO/ULA does to their launches.  ;) We are lucky that some volunteers are picking up coverage......

Is that LV taller than the one that launched the HTV, looks it?

H-IIB (which launches HTV) is actually taller, but H-IIA is "finer" (skinnier).

Note that to avoid falling rocket stage over the Philippines, all SSO launches out of TNSC must fly a dog-leg trajectory: heading south-east until SRB separation, then yaw something like 90 degrees towards south for the remainder of the flight.
