I have no idea what's happening, but there seem to be some comm issues?

Indeed, ground can't hear?

Another question, whats the metal plate with the 4 "umbrella" pins on it?

All three covers at the back and one at the front have been looked at, so the missing one must be one of the remaining two at the front

Sounds like someone's boiling one of those old-style kettles.

I take it this PAO likes to talk over the loop a lot.

No KU for another 10 mins, but the communications seem to be reasonable now.

Ku is back, but they are in darkness.

A very weird sound over the loop. Sounds like a song?

Foot restraint task removed, as a result of the previous task cancellation noted earlier in the thread (EVA work station).

That hardware reminds me a little bit of those ammonia valves.

So they figured out what the problem was??

Apparently the base plate was improperly aligned, but apparently - and much to the surprise of us and the NASA TV PAO - they have gone ahead and installed it, as it's only out of misalignment in the yaw position - which can be corrected mechanically.

So they figured out what the problem was??

I have not heard due to bad communication. But I think that they installed VRM+DPN now in incorrect position with aim to check their functionality. Maybe I am wrong.

So what about the foot restraint task? Back on?

So PAO said, if I understood correctly, that there's a yaw joint which gives
the necessary degree of freedom to correct the misalignment, so they can just use it as is
