JSLC launch pad designation
« on: 12/23/2017 05:56 pm »
Enlargement of a detail at the large JSLC screen seems to confirm now that the real designation of the CZ-2C/CZ-2D/CZ-4C launch pad is East Wind 9401 station (东风9401工位). Under http://novosti-kosmonavtiki.ru/forum/forum13/topic7415/?PAGEN_1=8 Liss has provided  some additional sources which supports this On the other side I have never seen an official document which supports the 603 number for the pad.  I have also found the designation 9406-2 and 9406-3 for camera positions around the 9401 launch pad.

I have also seen camera feeds in a still before with camera numbers ranging from 9400-0 through 9400-26 show both 603 and 921 pads in the field of view I believe was during one of the TG launches from 921. 9400 may be the overall number for the entire south launch area 2.

Area 43 is the overall designation for the South Launch Area.

Pad 90 is vehicle assembly building
Pad 91 is CZ-2F launch pad (the umbilical tower is 9100-1)
Pad 92 is a TTC station
Pad 94 is CZ-2D et al. launch pad
