Fengyun-2 #6 (2E) Launch Pad?
« on: 05/17/2017 05:03 PM »
I have been doing some checking at I have been unable to find confirmation of the launch pad at Xichang used for this launch at the end of 2008.   Jonathan McDowell has it as Pad 3? and it doesn't seem to be listed on here.

Can anyone help please?

A quick search turns up a few images purporting to be of this launch:
http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2008-12/23/content_10546541.htm
http://www.b14643.de/Spacerockets_1/China/CZ-3/Gallery/CZ-3A.htm

Assuming they are of the correct launch (which I wouldn't take for granted), these indicate that it used pad 3.
