I, for one, can't wait for the Zima launch. I may be in town to see this baby go up!

This had fallen into page 2 of the missions section (so many mission!) but all is still on track for a Static Fire test on the 26 as of last update.

Ho hum, another comsat launch and landing, I guess?

Since there weren't any updates of late, this is not surprising.

If I remember correctly, roadheaders run about 12-100 tons while bulldozers can run 40 to 104 tons.
As unseasonable record high 100 degree F temperatures bake Vandenberg AFB today, the Minotaur C vehicle being readied for launch on 31 October glistens in the bright sun at its seaside launch pad 576E.Image MIN3 and MIN4: The road to space is long with many a winding turn.Image MIN7 shows the larger SLC-2W looming behind, the launch site of the JPSS aboard a Delta II scheduled for November.Image MIN12 shows the distant coastline of Vandenberg South Base, with SLC-4 and SLC-6 clearly visible on a rare hot clear marine layer free day.

I wonder how much time they need to reconfigure things or if they have already calculated 5 or 10 different parameter loads for different landing points or even expendable with different things tested or ?They've used a "contingency landing location" that repositioned the ASDS on at least 1 previous occasion, IIRC it was on one of the Iridium launches. Which tells me that they likely have at least 2 or 3 targeted locations set up well before hand.
