3 objects have been cataloged by USSTRATCOM:

2017-023A/42691 in 278 x 35758 km x 4.03°

2017-023B/42692 in 259 x 35740 km x 3.99°

2017-023C/42693 in 230 x 35728 km x 3.97°

Is the Sylda(?) not large enough to be tracked?

Has the upper stage already been de-orbited?

I don't believe the upper stage used for this Ariane-5 variant can re-start, so I assume it has no active way to de-orbit unless its attitude thrusters are enough.

There is a note for upper stage passivization in the flight timeline after sep. Seems highly unlikely they would be able to deorbit less than an hour into coast. Or any time after passivization.

Re: Lars-J's and envy's responses:
My GUESS is that the catalog entry for either the upper stage or the SYLDA are missing at this juncture; not that the upper stage has been de-orbited.

We've seen apparently sluggish cataloging in recent months of some satellites, upper stages, etc.

ISTR, when consulting the heavens-above database, seeing Ariane 5 upper stages used on dual GSTO missions lingering for some weeks, or even months? in orbit after the launch date.

Is there a good place to find an Ariane 5 launch manifest? Have they revised anything since the strike?

Arianespace don't publish an official manifest. There is an unofficial manifest from NSF

http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=6114.1140

I also have an unofficial manifest.

Some launches were delayed due to the strike, but they should be back to schedule in the next few months.
