That's a bummer.   The launch docket at the Cape gets thinner all the time, and no Deltas will fly until this strike is resolved.
That's the downside for we launch fans.  The downside for the workers is a lonnnnng time without a paycheck.... mangement keeps pulling their checks, but nothing gets done.  Jargon from old Cape days: it's 'enn ayy gee ess' - NAGS- Not A Good Situation.

A very long time without a check. It has to be hurting.

Now what will happen when the other commercial options get their stuff together, thinking Spacex, with much smaller teams?

It was on the news that many people are crossing the picket line. Could be over soon.

Are the protesters still at KSC, or has this all calmed down now?

The only protesters I see as I drive around KSC are the Boeing strikers.  I don't think the anti-nuclear people found any support.  The striking workers aren't finding any support either...usually only one or 2 people and a lot of signs and banners.

Larry
