FYI: CCC is a german computer club which host a yearly conference to present topics relevant for todays IT world.
This talk is part of a "Historic" series, in the beginning of the presentation the earlier talks of this series are also mentioned, might be worth a look if you are interested in history.
There are also other interesting talks (some in english, most in german) about net neutrality, government surveillance, hacking of stuff etc.
