Yeah, the new TPS sensors for the leading edge of the wings.

I thought that they were the shims inbetween the TPS tiles. The sensors would run inside the wing surely?

Those strings are non flight items having to do with the shims installed between the tile and the RCC wing leading edge tiles. They are a part of the shim installation process and are removed before flight.
