Satellite builder Space Systems/Loral has delivered Hispasat’s latest craft, now named 30W-6 (it was formerly called Hispasat 1F) to the SpaceX launch site at Cape Canaveral in Florida, where it will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in February (along with SES-12).
SES said that the commercialisation of the craft was an important milestone for its future growth strategy. The operator plans to follow up with the launch of two more geostationary hybrid satellites with widebeam and HTS capabilities – SES-14 and SES-12 – along the the launch of four medium Earth orbit O3b satellites.

If Hispasat is going to launch on 15 Feb, does anyone have an estimate of launch time. Since I’m headed to Daytona for speed week, I’d love to get to see the launch instead of going to Thursday night’s races.I wouldn't plan on Feb 15 at this point. I believe that is a public placeholder for "mid-February" at this point in time, we haven't been given a more specific date yet....and there it goes. Moving at least a week to the right.https://spaceflightnow.com/launch-schedule/http://www.launchphotography.com/Delta_4_Atlas_5_Falcon_9_Launch_Viewing.html
