You mean like a parapet wall / false front that extends above the actual roof so we are unable to see the fire damage?

Report on the fire: http://www.wesh.com/article/firefighters-extinguish-fire-on-roof-of-spacex-building/10314885

Includes this SpaceX statement:

Quote
“This afternoon a small fire occurred on the roof of a SpaceX building at Port Canaveral. Thanks to the Canaveral Fire Rescue and the Brevard County Fire Rescue, who responded within minutes, the fire was extinguished. There was no damage to any SpaceX equipment or hardware as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”

If they were doing a controlled burn south of the Cape, it could have simply been some burnin g debris from that.
My God!  It's full of universes!

I'm familiar with prescribed burns. They aren't done when there is a lot of extra fuel, that has to be cleared first. They're mostly grass fires. They burn fast and don't produce the kind of large embers a forest fire does where whole trees are burning up.
Also, prescribed burn crews are very sensitive to wind speed and direction.
Seems like a coincidence to me.
