I think what struck me the most was that Stéphane Israël (CEO, Arianespace)  was super gracious about it, wishing Clay all the best in his new job (at a competitor no less)...  Class act.

Bucking the trend on pay. Hopefully it works out well as a race to the bottom in pay doesn't bode well for the industry in the long term.
