Congrats to Blue Origin and thanks for the new openness, their focus seems to be on refinement over raw power and it was looking pretty refined today.

Big thanks to Blue Origin for the webcast, and especially for doing the on-screen graphics the right way, on the sides of the wide-screen HD image so that we could actually see the mostly-vertical launch vehicle in the middle.  Are you paying attention SpaceX and ISRO?

Congratulations on a terrific launch.  This is what spaceflight is supposed to be like.

Congratulations, BO. :)

However, the SpaceX live coverage has a far higher quality. Not a single live shot from space here, they didn't even show a video from a previous launch. At BO the view of earth from space doesn't seem to be important. Don't they plan to fly people up there? And they aren't even showing the main attraction?

Guess: All previous views were from onboard cameras without transmitters. Most likely they simply have no live video feed from the onboard cameras. Cheaper.

It's a tough audience  Blue, there is always one critic.

Watching that live was ten times better than watching a replay! Thanks for the webcast!

What was the BO estimate of price per passenger for tourism flight

With ELV best efficiency was the paradigm. The new paradigm is reusable, good enough, and commonality of design.
Same engines. Design once. Same vehicle. Design once. Reusable. Build once.

A vertical graphic is appropriate for an entirely vertical flight profile.  Falcon 9 has a predominantly horizontal flight so it is more intuitive to have a horizontal timeline  ;D

Congratulations to BO and thanks for the live broadcast demonstrating a very cool machine.

Blue even gets double duty out of the vertical timeline, since what goes up must come down. Wouldn't work well for orbital launch especially one with coast phase(s).

New Shepard and Falcon 9 are apples and oranges.  It's nice to have both.  Congratulations, Blue Origin, and thanks for the webcast!

Congratulations Blue!

Great to see the new openness to showing this live as a webcast.  Keep up the incremental and iterative test program.  Look forward to seeing the second New Shepherd flying soon.
