Caught a glimpse of the thread title.  It's just not going to be commercially viable if it takes 50 years for a launch just to get to orbit....
Sometimes I just flat out don't get it.

Always good to see another Dream Chaser story Dave, but if you are going to tell the whole back story you really need to write about Martin’s “Yellowbird” and the suborbital PRIME project which successfully tested lifting body  entry years before BOR-4. Also, always good to do a search of NSF first. ;)

+1.  Interesting projection at the end of the article on what it'll take to make it so - looks like at least $1 billion required.
